Description
Never been in a boat before, or not for a long time? Fear not, our ‘Have-A-Go’ sessions are designed perfectly for you. We provide all the equipment you’ll need, and our highly experienced & qualified instructors will guide you through the entire session, keeping you safe at the same time.
With 4 different paddle crafts to choose from (Tandem Canoes, Sit-on-Top Kayaks, Sit-in-Kayaks and Paddleboards), we have something for everyone.
Our ‘Have-A-Go’ sessions will introduce you to the craft, help you get on and off the water, provide hints and tips to get you moving around and include an element of journeying games and challenges. As with all our activities and courses, we will tailor the session to meet your needs and desires.
What’s Included:
- 90mins of instructor lead activity (includes kitting up and briefing)
- FREE use of our equipment (where needed)
- FREE use of our long john (sleeveless) wetsuits
- Your Paddle UK ‘Paddle Start’) Certificate
 What’s Not Included?
- Lunch/Drinks
- Transport: You need to be able to get to and from the venue
- Parking/access fees – this will be advertised when applicable.
 Pre-Requisites:
- Ages 10years +
- Reasonable water confidence (non-swimmers welcome)
- Clothing to paddle in, suitable to the weather conditions on the day
- FOOTWEAR to paddle in – footwear is mandatory for all our sessions (no crocs, sliders, sandals or wellies)
- Full set of dry clothes, dry shoes and a towel for the end of the session.
